Sustainability is Key
Providing a low carbon footprint, glamping is the ultimate outdoor experience without being exposed to the outdoors.
This sustainable project was completed in November 2022 and took six months to build.
The vision was to offer the opportunity for people to connect with the natural Tasmanian environment by creating a sustainable product with an environmentally responsible footprint. This has been achieved through the installation of a harvested rain water system, solar hot water, a worm farm, vegetable garden, drought resistant plantings and mulch - all incorporated into the existing landscape.
Everything that was used for this project was sourced locally: sandstone blocks, timber logs, stones, argonaut rocks, landscaping products, plus labour hire and contractors.
